I practice acupuncture, acupressure- bodywork and Qigong healing. I prescribe Chinese herbs, suggest nutritional strategies, and utilize vibrational remedies. Sometimes in my practice I witness profound disorders and illnesses turning aound. When I see this I feel humbled by the power of the Spirit that is within each of us. I am also humbled by the power of the ancient Chinese methods and healing systems which work so well today. In opening the Los Gatos Acupuncture and Qigong Center it is my intention to provide a space where these ancient methods and healing systems can be passed on to as many people as possible. So I invite you to participate in a class or a workshop, to come to a free talk and Healing Session, or to come as a patient for treatment.

We have 5 well equipped treatment rooms, positioned and energized to reflect the Chinese Five elements, with Earth in the middle. Each room is equipped with far-infrared heatlamps, Tibetan salt-crystal lights, an aromatherapy diffuser and all the appropriate supplies for acupuncture treatment. In addition we have a fully stocked Chinese herbal pharmacy, an energetic medicine pharmacy and a large attractive classroom for Qigong and seminars. Acupuncture Treatments My acupuncture sessions will continue to focus on the simultaneous clearing of physical illness and pain, with the elucidation of meaning and purpose in life. If you have an illness or disease, I encourage you to work with me. In 20 years of practice I have been privileged to see many amazing healings. If you are basically well, but want to improve, that is ok too, many of my patients use acupuncture for its preventative medical benefits. We are happy to bill insurance for acupuncture.

I am an acupuncturist. I also teach acupuncture. Living in California I am licensed by the state to practice acupuncture and oriental bodywork, to use Oriental herbs in treatment, to teach Qigong (breathing and moving exercises) and to dispense dietary and lifestyle advice. All of this I do. For more in-depth information about acupuncture click on the link above.

In the treatment we will talk for a while, then I will take the pulses and perform a Medical Qigong assessment. Now I can understand the illness or problem in your body from the Sacred Acupuncture perspective. I will tell you what I am finding and we will perform the acupuncture treatment. During this treatment you lie on a comfortable treatment table. Ultra-thin, sterilized acupuncture needles are inserted into safe points on your body. This is often a deeply relaxing and nourishing experience. During the treatment we might talk some more and I might ask you to breath in a certain way or focus your awareness on something. After some time we will have accomplished a healing and I will let you rest with the needles in for a while. Most people fall asleep or get very relaxed or energized in this section. I, or an assistant, will take the needles out, and when you come out of the treatment room we will run through any herbal treatment options, dietary changes or Qigong and Shengong exercises to do. The herbs are very safe and very healing. They come in the form of pills or capsules or teas. You will be shown any Qigong exercises specific to your condition. Do you want to recover? Then take the herbs, do the Qigong exercises and come to your acupuncture appointments - and you will get improvement.

Many patients come to Sacred Acupuncture to relieve their pain or recover from an illness. They go on to discover that not only does Sacred Acupuncture relieve pain, but that it also strengthens their immune system and boosts their energy. Some patients feel it increases their personal development or 'spiritual growth'. Some patients find that it reduces their stress and keeps them feeling in balance or at peak performance. For these reasons many of my patients come in periodically for maintenance Sacred Acupuncture treatments.
That's up to you. Do you want to recover from your pain or illness or imbalance? I will recommend a course of treatment for you. Typical courses of treatment might be 6-12 sessions, one week apart. For acute and/or painful conditions a few sessions in quick succession is often useful to break up the acute pattern. In this way we get quicker results. Sometimes patients decide to continue, in order to deepen the benefits. In this case I may recommend a series of twelve sessions spaced approximately one week apart.
A new patient consultation and treatment is $125 A regular treatment is $88
Sacred Acupuncture is often reimbursable by medical insurance and workers compensation insurance.
